Melbourne Airport Parking Since 1997
Melbourne was where Andrew’s Airport Parking began, with a simple premise to provide an enjoyable and motivated workplace, delivering excellent customer service. We opened our doors on September 1st, 1997 with 50 parking spaces only 100m from our current facility on Mickleham Road. I distinctly recall our first customer, Frank Halim, thought he was lost upon arriving at our car park!
With persistence and long hours though, we built a business that in quick time won a Victorian Fair Trading Award for Customer Service and was listed on BRW’s Fast 100 for four consecutive years. Our growth and success led to being contracted for Car Park Management of the 2006 Commonwealth Games, simultaneously operating over 300 staff and 35 car parks throughout Victoria during the Games.
The Melbourne Airport Parking business had rapidly expanded, to take up over 10 acres and in subsequent years offer additional products such as hotel transfers, cruise transfers, after hours car rental services and during 2021 we began our car rental business Big Boy Car Rentals. For over 50,000 Members, the Travel Agents and businesses who refer us, and for so many more customers, we have become more than just airport parking.
But airport parking remains our key business and with up to six shuttle buses circulating to and from Melbourne Airport at any given time, day or night, almost 25 years on Andrew’s remains an incredibly vibrant and enjoyable business to oversee.
